Your eSIM is ready in your account right after purchase — open trevvel.de/konto (or the link from your confirmation email) and tap “Install eSIM” on your eSIM. Your device opens the installation directly. Then just turn on data roaming — done. Our setup guide walks you through it step by step.

It’s best to set it up before your trip, calmly on Wi-Fi. You can also install it once you’re abroad – but then you’ll need a stable Wi-Fi connection.

Turn on data roaming for your trevvel eSIM profile. That’s the only way the connection works abroad. It doesn’t cost anything as long as you’re not at your destination yet.

Once you land, set your trevvel eSIM as the data connection: Settings › Cellular › Cellular Data. After that you’re online.

Some iPhones say the eSIM couldn’t be installed. Usually it was added anyway: check under Settings › Cellular and activate it there. If that doesn’t work, our live chat will help you.

With fixed data plans you simply buy a top-up. With the daily plans you automatically get full speed again the next day.

Your phone needs to support eSIM and must not be SIM-locked. That’s the case for most devices from around 2018 on: iPhone XS and newer, Samsung Galaxy from S20, Google Pixel from 3 and many more. Check your exact model in the compatibility check.

Yes. The eSIM is only for internet. Your number stays reachable on your regular SIM.

No. Your SIM stays active. The trevvel eSIM runs alongside it and is used separately for mobile data.

Technically yes – but we recommend buying only one eSIM per order. That avoids activation issues and keeps things clear.
